I am Mandy from Blush Make Up Artist.I 'm very honoured and pleased to be involved with Suzy again in this production, this being the third time I have done the makeup for a production Suzy had been involved with.
I have been involved in the beauty industry for 20 years now and based in Tauranga i love making people look and feel special for their special day. I go to clients for weddings, fashion shows, photo shoots, balls and also do organic spray tans.

Suzy Sampson is an Actor, Director and Producer born in Wellington New Zealand and trained at the London Academy of Performing Arts and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, TVI Studios in Los Angeles and the Stella Adler Academy in New York. She has worked in Theatre, Film, TV and Radio in London, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Prague and Auckland.

Suzy  founded Twice as Good Productions  in Sydney in 2003 and at the same time established TaG Drama Workshops for Kids of which she is Artistic Director. She has run children's workshops for Faust International and the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and continues to run weekly workshops from her Drama Studio in Omokoroa.

Suzy is also a qualified school teacher and past recipient of the New Zealand Times Teacher of the Year Award.


Suzy says:


"I first came to appreciate the language and the poetry of Shakespeare's plays at the age of 13 when my teacher took my class to see Hamlet after which we were given the opportunity to dress up and go on stage with the actors and workshop scenes with them - it was an inspired and inspiring afternoon. And so I constantly strive to instil that love I discovered for this remarkable playwright with all who are brave enough to take the journey with me."

OUTDOOR SHAKESPEARE IN THE BAY

Jez originally from the UK, has spent the last 25 years in theatre in some form or other, either Stage Management, Lighting/Sound, producing and even directing.  He has a passion for theatre and a special relationship with Shakespeare having been taken to see Othello at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1978 and fell in love with it.  He also has his own theatre company Rehab Theatre/Notebook Theatre and has also started writing plays. For Outdoor Shakespeare in the Bay, Jez works as Lighting, Sound, Website, Rehearsal Manager, Technical Director and helps with the marketing along with anything else that gets thrown his way......

​BeScene started in 2011 by Heidi O'Donnell after 6 years working as a freelance stylist, where Heidi worked with designers and homestaging companies, consulting and styling for them.BeScene specialises in all aspects of interior styling; event settings for weddings, preparing homes for sale and styling homes for sale, colour consulting, floral styling and interior design. Recently Heidi has being working with larger events such as last seasons Shakespeare production of A Midsummers Night Dream, and Butterflies of the night, where she transformed an aeroplane hanger into a magical butterfly garden and a french cabaret club.


Heidi has being doing interior styling for 10 years and believes that everyone should live, work and entertain in an environment that reflects who they (clients) are, what their tastes are and how they live - your home should reflect the people who live there. Heid also believes that it shouldn't cost the earth to create beautiful spaces and it should be affordable, by working with what the client has and enhancing the environment Heidi can show her clients how to have a home they will be proud of.

Heidi grew up in Tauranga but has being living in Auckland for 23 years before returning home to the Bay 2 years ago with her family. Heidi has two children 21 & 15, Heidi enjoys walking her Jack Russell along our beaches and says the best thing about living here is the weather and being closer to her family.
